We previously tried this plugin and it sort of worked but was quite limited. We came back to it as a simple, hopefully improved way to help manage our active Mail Chimp members list – people who actually pay to receive our email updates. Unfortunately, it was a disaster as while the ‘sync’ eventually worked, it unilaterally unsubscribed 3000 members – the Mail Chimp rules rightly require each unsubscribed person to opt in again and as they’re unsubscribed, we cannot actually do a mass blast to say sorry about this awful plugin etc. We have to either abandon Mail Chimp or email each of the unsubscribed members individually. It’s astonishing that despite all the hype and bluster from WooCommerce..

This plug-in saved us a workload that often caused some headaches. We have lots of memberships at our website, and keeping up to date with who is in what membership takes some time and effort. Having this plug-in means that we no longer have to deal with who is in what membership as this takes care for us automatically. Now, all we have to do is just make a campaign at Mailchimp, choose the segment, and off we go!
